Road to Recovery provides no-cost transportation vouchers for individuals living in EODD's seven county region who are actively enrolled in a recovery program for opioid use disorder (OUD) or another substance use disorder associated with increased risk of opioid misuse.

Qualified Participants may utilize RTR Vouchers for allowable rides both within, and outside EODD's region, subject to Transit Provider policy and availability. By reducing transportation barriers, RTR supports long-term stability, independence, and recovery.

This program is made possible by the Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Grant Program, administered by the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General.

How it Works

Road to Recovery operates through a simple, referral-based process that connects participants to transportation services through approved partners.

Participants and/or their Case Managers schedule rides directly with the transit provider in accordance with provider policies. RTR does not schedule transportation.

Ride Use

Ride Use Graphic.png

RTR vouchers are issued for a wide range of transportation needs that address the practical barriers affecting an individual’s ability to remain engaged in recovery services and build a stable, independent life.

All rides must align with program goals. Trips that do not align with these goals are not reimbursable.
