Senior Services

agingCongregate Meals

Congregate meals are available at 21 different nutrition sites in seven Eastern Oklahoma counties. Registered Dietitians visit sites monthly to provide nutrition education materials and discussions. Click here for a list of Nutrition Centers.

Home Delivered Meals

Home delivered meals are delivered from 21 nutrition centers. These meals are for those who are considered homebound (unable to leave their home without the assistance of another person) and have no one in the home during the day to cook a meal for them. MC Nutrition makes great effort to serve all those in need of a home delivered meal. Unfortunately, there are not enough volunteers to deliver these hot noon meals. If you are interested in volunteering to deliver meals, please contact:

Outreach Services are available in each of the 7 counties. Outreach workers seek out those persons 60 years of age and older and try linking them with services to assist them with living independently. To contact an Outreach Worker, contact EODD Outreach (918) 682-7891.

Health Promotion services are provided through Rural Health Projects, Inc. Rural Health Projects Inc subcontracts with Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative (OHAI) to provide in-person and virtual classes. For more information, please call (918) 660-3137.

Welcome!

Counties in green represent the sub-state district of EODD.

The Eastern Oklahoma Development District (EODD) is a cooperative council of government dedicated to improving the quality of life in Eastern Oklahoma. EODD serves as an extension of the staffs of local governments that don't have adequate full-time staffs of their own or the state expertise required to meet the mandates of federal and state government.

EODD is a voluntary association comprised of local governments. It's a partnership in planning and development. District membership includes city, county and conservation district entities within Adair, Cherokee, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah, and Wagoner Counties and Indian Nations.
